Rapid
Retrofit Deployment & Portability
What makes Phi’s SCIFs unique
is their construction – the walls, floor and ceiling are constructed
from composite layers of sound-proofing, insulation and metallic screening
materials, sandwiched to produce panels, edged with steel, that are light
enough to be portable and are designed to be assembled within an existing
building, in a fraction of the time taken to build a traditional room.
They can be dismantled, packed
flat for transportation and reassembled at a new location. Containers
and vehicles such as trailers can also be converted into mobile SCIFs
ready for fast deployment to any area where secure communications are
necessary.
Complete,
Flexible Solution
Using standard panel widths of 600mm, Phi’s SCIF units can be manufactured
to any size required. Our security experts will work with you from the
initial identification and analysis of a requirement through to the design
and construction phases to ensure a turnkey solution customised to your
specific needs.
They are supplied with air conditioning
and ventilation. Lighting and power, computer and telephone connections
can also be fitted as required. Our full range of communications
options and optional extras ensures your requirements
are fully met. A full service and repair contract is available, together
with relocation support and assistance.
High Security
The component panels lock together to be impenetrable and are guarded
by Phi’s high security, patent-pending door which will be furnished
with a CDX-09 high security combination lock
and a Trilogy 4100 day lock, concealed pivot hinges and door closure.
Knife-edges and finger strips maintain the screening integrity.
Screening and
Sound Attenuation
The multi-layered construction is TEMPEST
compliant, blocking EMI and RF emanations to provide a high level
of shielding and embedded sound masking and acoustical controls achieve
a high level of sound attenuation with a rating of STC 45. Our facilities
meet all US government requirements for specialised sensitive solutions
and are designed to exceed DCID 6/9 and JAFAN 6/9.
Limited
Construction Hassles
The component parts are manufactured at our ISO9001:2008
accredited factory in Cornwall and delivered to your site where they
are assembled by Phi’s team of experts with the minimum of disruption.
Because our SCIFs are not permanent structures, no planning permission
is required and there is little or no need for construction plans, general
contractors, building permits etc compared to the construction of a traditional
SCIF.
Cost Savings
Phi’s high quality solutions are competitively priced, often less
than the cost of a traditionally built room, provide EMP
protection at no extra cost and, because they can be moved and reused
when necessary, your investment is protected.

Moblie Solutions
Containers, trailers and other vehicles
can be converted into a SCIF or shielded room and customised to meet your
requirements. From the outside the vehicle looks no different, but is
ready for fast deployment to areas where secure communications are necessary.
